lab10 news and updates
Over the last couple of months, the lab10 collective has been busy working on a variety of internal and external projects. Here’s a short overview of what has been going on:
Identity is a core aspect of the lab10 vision, so much so that Dietmar Hofer wrote an entire article about the importance of identity here.
To learn more about this crucial topic, some of our members also attended the recent Internet Identity Workshop in Mountain View, California.
Continuing with the theme of Identity, we have also started building the mobile App “Minerva Wallet”. This is our interpretation of what a digital wallet for both identity and valuables could/should look like. With Minerva, we want to make the concept of self-sovereign identity tangible and accessible. Minerva is a standalone application which is not tied to, but can closely integrate with, ARTIS. Minerva has turned into a full-fledged project of its own. And yet, it will not be the only wallet application for ARTIS: Any wallet which supports Ethereum and which can be configured for a custom Ethereum network (for example the popular Metamask browser extension) can interact with ARTIS.
We had our first company retreat in September 2018, where core team members spent three days strategizing, socializing and hiking in the Austrian mountains. If you would like to read more about our retreat, you can find more information here.
